How it works
Show us your year
Send your busiest and quietest months, your average ticket for a tune-up, a repair and a replacement, and the links to your current profiles. That is enough to see where social media can carry weight.
Get a calendar and an ad plan in writing
We map 52 weeks of posts and video to your local heating and cooling seasons, and show the ad budget, the targeting and how each call will be tracked before anything goes live.
Talk to a person, not a funnel
No quote forms and no sales sequence. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

-
Seasonal content calendars

Short video for HVAC crews
Reels, TikToks and Shorts filmed on real jobs by your own techs, edited and captioned so homeowners watch to the end.
-
Meta ads for HVAC
Facebook and Instagram campaigns aimed at the postal codes you serve, tied to calls and booked jobs rather than likes.
-
TikTok ads for HVAC
Tested TikTok campaigns for heat pumps, maintenance plans and hiring, with honest limits on what the platform can do.

Comments, messages and reviews
Fast, polite replies to comments and direct messages, so social interest turns into a booked service call.
Social media for an HVAC company is not about going viral. It is about being the familiar, trustworthy name a homeowner already knows on the January night their furnace quits, and about filling the calendar in April and September when nothing is breaking. HVAC.Social builds that familiarity on purpose: a seasonal content calendar, short video shot by your own techs, and paid campaigns on Meta and TikTok that are judged by calls and booked jobs.
We are a digital marketing and business consulting service. We are not an HVAC contractor, we do not install or repair anything, and we never compete with you for work.
Why HVAC social media fails, and what fixes it
Most HVAC feeds fail because they post the same thing all year: a stock photo of a smiling technician and a discount code. The fix is to match every post to the season the viewer is living through.
A homeowner in Saskatoon in February and a homeowner in Kelowna in July have different worries. One wants to know why the furnace short-cycles; the other wants to know whether a heat pump can keep up with a heat wave. A feed that speaks to the current worry gets watched. A feed that ignores it gets scrolled past.
Three other habits sink HVAC accounts:
- Posting only offers. If every post is a coupon, people learn to ignore you until they need a coupon.
- Ads with no tracking. A campaign that reports "reach" but cannot tell you how many calls it produced is a cost, not a channel.
- Slow replies. A comment asking "do you service Lennox?" that sits unanswered for two days tells everyone reading what your phone response will be like.
Our seasonal content calendars and comment and message handling exist to fix exactly these three problems.
What the work looks like each month
Each month has a plan, a shoot, a posting rhythm, an ad budget and a report. The details shift with the season, but the structure stays the same so your office always knows what is coming.
- Plan. The calendar for the next four weeks is confirmed, with topics tied to the weather outlook, any rebate news and your own capacity. If your crews are booked solid, we stop pushing installs and promote maintenance plans instead.
- Shoot. Your techs capture short clips on real jobs using a simple shot list. Ten to fifteen raw clips a week is plenty. We handle editing, captions and on-screen text.
- Post. Three to five posts a week across the platforms that matter in your market, plus Stories when there is something live to show.
- Advertise. Meta ads and, where it fits, TikTok ads push the strongest clips to homeowners inside your service area.
- Report. You get calls, messages, booked jobs and cost per booked job, with the vanity numbers shown separately and clearly labelled as such.
Short video from your own crews
Short video works for HVAC because the job is invisible to most homeowners. Showing what a tune-up actually involves, or why a condensate line freezes, turns a grudge purchase into something people understand and trust.
You do not need a film crew. A phone, a clip-on microphone and a shot list are enough for most companies. Our short video service gives your techs a simple brief for each job type, and we turn raw footage into finished Reels, TikToks and Shorts. When a company is ready for planned productions with lighting and a crew, our sister studio HVAC.Media handles that level of work.
Before anything is filmed inside a customer's home, the tech asks permission and keeps addresses, faces and family photos out of frame. Our crew filming playbook explains the routine.
Paid social, measured in booked jobs
Paid social is where HVAC.Social earns its keep in the shoulder seasons. A well-targeted Meta campaign promoting fall furnace tune-ups in late August can keep techs busy in weeks that would otherwise be slow.
The test of any campaign is simple. If your average tune-up is worth $180 and a campaign spends $1,500 to book 30 of them, that is $50 per booked tune-up and $5,400 of revenue, before counting the repairs and replacements those visits uncover. If the same $1,500 books 6, the campaign needs rework or should stop. Our ads budget guide walks through this maths step by step with your own numbers.
Proof from our HVAC marketing work
Our team has built 150+ live HVAC websites, and the results below come from that wider HVAC marketing work, which combined websites, search, reviews and ads. We show them because they prove the method of tracking every lead to its source, not because each one was a social-only campaign.
- HVACDeal.ca produced 500+ leads at a 12:1 ROI.
- BCWide.ca tripled its leads in 90 days.
- CanroHeat.ca grew leads by 250%.
- GasBoilers.ca holds a 5.0★ rating from 76+ Google reviews, the kind of social proof that makes paid social cheaper to run.
The results page explains what each project shows and what transfers to a social media programme.
Coverage: every province and territory
HVAC.Social works with HVAC companies anywhere in Canada. The calendar for a Halifax company, where heat pumps are a large share of primary heating, looks nothing like the calendar for a gas-furnace market such as Calgary, and a Quebec company needs French-language content to meet the province's language rules.
The areas hub covers each region, with the climate, the regulators to link to, current energy programs and how we would plan social content there.

Frequently asked questions
What is HVAC.Social?
HVAC.Social is a Canadian social media and digital marketing service for HVAC and heating companies, part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group. It is headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Do you install or repair HVAC equipment?
No. We are a marketing and consulting service, not an HVAC contractor. We plan content, edit video, run ads and answer messages for HVAC companies; your licensed crews do every install and repair.
Which platforms do you cover?
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts are the core, with Google Business Profile posts kept in step with them. We pick the mix based on where your customers in your area actually spend time, not on what is fashionable this year.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Many of the strongest HVAC clips show hands, equipment and a clear explanation, with no face at all. If an owner or a senior tech is comfortable on camera, that helps trust, but it is never a requirement.
How much does it cost?
HVAC.Agency plans start at $2,998 per month, plus GST or HST at your province's rate, and ad spend is paid directly to the platforms. You can start with a 7-day free trial that needs no credit card, and nothing locks you in; the pricing page shows what each plan covers.
Can social media really bring in service calls?
It can, but mostly as the second touch rather than the first. Homeowners who have seen your techs explain a filter change or a heat pump defrost cycle call you with more trust when the furnace stops. We measure that with tracked numbers and booked jobs, never with likes alone.
